Permaconn 4G Security Monitoring
The Permaconn Monitoring Network communicates within ‘Virtual Private Networks’ (VPNs) provided by Optus and Telstra. The VPNs are dedicated to Permaconn alarm traffic only and ensure that all data transmitted and received is secure. All messages are encrypted ‘end to end’ using the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES128).
Dual SIM Permaconn devices are designed to communicate and switch seamlessly between both Telco networks, guaranteeing a network availability of 99.9%.

Permaconn Pocket Secure App
Pocket Secure is a mobile app that lets you remotely arm & disarm your security system and is included with all Permaconn plans.
Key features of the app include:
– Remote arm/disarm capabilities, enabling users to manage their security system from anywhere using their mobile device.
– The ability to view the security system’s status and receive push notifications directly to the phone, informing the user immediately if the alarm is activated.
– Enhanced security features such as PIN code or FaceID protection on compatible devices.
– Integration with Siri, allowing voice commands to interact with the app.
– User permissions, an admin user can manage the access and functionalities available to other app users.
The app requires an active Virgo Security monitoring service and an installed Permaconn Communicator to operate. It’s compatible with various security systems and is available for iOS & Android devices.
